What's up Diamonds, You are probably saying to yourself "I don't want to hear something from 2014" but you do...here's why everyone knows in order to move forward you have to look at where you came from. The same holds with radio, and it applys to anything you want to do in life.  See if you think there are things you can't do or are afraid to do I'm hear to tell you that you can and you would be surprised how much people will actually put up with. This is from my first shows in 2014 and I made so many mistakes for me the mistakes was so bad I just wanted to hang up my headset constantly asking myself "what the heck am I doing". During that time as confident as I may sound I would not have given my link to anyone because of embarrassment, but today 7500 downloads later I am putting it out there with no problem. Is is #jacked yes some parts of it (that's what I feel) but hey, I look at how much I've grown today and I feel grateful, more knowledgeable and blessed. What's Up #Diamonds, Welcome, Truthful Tuesday the day to be honest with yourself about something and if it's not good confessing it is always the first step to fixing it and if its good #kudos to you as long as your not too vain about it. For me, it always seems to go left even when I am trying to make it right.  This is the week right before Mother's Day and it seems all any woman truly wants is a good night peaceful sleep basically some rest, the other half just wants to be around her family for the day. Sometimes that can be difficult when you have older children that have their own lives with lots of things going on. Nailing everyone down at the same time can be the most challenging at least that is what I find being a mom with older children or "ie" young adults. Everyone is just so busy... for me, I don't need all day just a few hours with everyone together would work.  You will be hearing me talk about moms all week so just be prepared after all its #Mothersday week, join me in the morning at 9:00a

What's Up  #Diamonds, Welcome to May 2018 the beginning and opening of summer! Getting ready for the summer can take lots of work with exercising, and planning summer fun with the family can be exhausting make sure to rest and drink plenty of water cause it looks like its going to be a hot one.  The best part about May is the breaking out of the grill for barbecuing and opening the pools for swimming it is the month for the first summer party.  We are starting this month out with an interview from Taiwo's newest protégé Kim Fox hers is another smooth voice whose music I will be promoting on the show. Taiwo is one of the Independent music artist whose music I promote here on the show. What's up Diamonds, Ready for another throwback fashion? Check out my slideshow and you will see some 90's fashion...personally I think we were a little confused I mean the hairstyles was cool but the fashion was a little wacky some of the time. The 90's for me was spent dancing and clubbing I would have liked to be at the club every weekend but I had kids so you know how that is "nature's ball and chain".  But there were some things going on like Nelson Mandela was released from prison after 27 years, the Gulf War was going on I called that one the silent war because I think a lot of us Americans did not know there was a war, I knew because my husband was in it at Gitmo Guantanamo Bay. Also, the Hubble Space Telescope launched during the Space Shuttle Discovery mission. The popular music was Janet Jackson, Paula Abdul, Phill Collins, Micheal Bolton brings back memories huh?  What’s up diamonds, Well, we made it to the fourth month of 2018 this is the last Monday in April glass and the show has been promoting Awareness on everything from illnesses to diseases to whatever we needed to be aware of. I say that jokingly but illnesses no matter what kind is not a joke.  God knows who the strong ones are, it takes a strong person to handle this every day to face people who will stare at her or completely distance themselves away from them because they are afraid of what they don't know.   Monday night I will be talking about discoid lupus it is something that has affected my whole family on my oldest daughter. She was not born with that disease neither did she have it during her elementary or high school years, she was diagnosed with this in her adult years after she was married. This is something she actually been wanting for a while to bring an awareness to discoid lupus as we got closer to the date she began to be more hesitant on putting a picture of what discoid lupus has done t

What's up Diamonds, I always wait till it's late before I call my jury duty line the good news is I won't be needed for tomorrow and that was my last call-in woohoo! #excited I've survived a month of civic duties now I can go on with my life. I was hoping I did not have a podcast for TGIF. Today is the beginning of the..... What's up Diamonds,  I'm back.... I had two days of jury duty on a civil trial a decision was made by us the jury, so I am free to go live for #throwback Thursday but... because the month is not over I have to call-in today after 5pm to see if they need me for Friday please say prayer that they won't need me cause today was #rough.  Anyway, I am here live with you today and hopefully Friday too.  For this weeks throwback I went back 18 years to 2000, I know its hard to believe it was 18 years ago! What's up Diamonds, Sorry, I can't be here again today, yesterday I was selected to be a juror for a multi-day trial hopefully this will be my last day doing this and I will be back live for #ThrowbackThursday. This week is also the last week I am to call the courthouse to see if I needed to appear for jury duty. What can I say they got me... and good too. Two ultra boring days it's not like I have an exciting case the case is boring and it's hard staying awake, I know it sounds like a complaint and it is... but it is my civic duty. What’s up Diamonds, I hope you are enjoying this beautiful gorgeous spring weekend, I know I am I had a chance to get out the house this weekend and do some shopping at my favorite store yes… I am a #Macysgirl. I went to Macy’s and got myself in just a little bit of trouble not too much say about $125 worth which for a person like me on a strict budget like mine, that's a lot but the point is I enjoyed myself I went alone just cruising to the store taking forever to make up my mind  but you know how that is. I ended up with two lovely shirts and the third one for a birthday present for an associate.  We have been seeing April awareness postings all around the social network, everything from cancer to lupus to autism.
