The promise of tomorrow is bottled up and pounding through the veins of a diverse and creative group of young men and women participating in Brentwood’s Youth Leadership program. All that energy and creative power is hard to contain, and it was exciting to have the entire group tour our warehouse and distribution center yesterday morning. The highlighted theme for the day is “Non-Traditional Businesses” and the educational focus was on entrepreneurship. Nashville’s 2014 NEXT Award Winner as the Entrepreneur of the Year and our CEO at Hobby Express, Mark A Cleveland was the morning’s host. Topics ranged from challenges in global supply chain management and opportunities related to drones and emerging technologies, to brand management. “Both my daughters graduated from Youth Leadership Brentwood,“ Cleveland said as he introduced the day’s speakers and demonstration plan. Alex joined the U.S. Army Infantry in 1992 and served in the Presidential Honor Guard from 1995-1997. After ten years of service, Alex left the Army with Honorable Discharge. In the following years, he trained with the Horn Lake Police Department and was the Honor Graduate #1 in his class at the Mississippi Law Enforcement Officer's Training Academy in Pearl, MS. As if the designation of Top Cop wasn't enough, in 2006 Alex began working with the CIA as a Special Protective Agent, first with the Global Response Staff, later switching to the Director's Protective Staff. Alex has been responsible for protecting the Director of National Intelligence, the Director of the CIA and both of their Deputy Directors. Alex thrives on adrenaline-infused situations.

The Passion for Fashion event was covered TJ Cates, host of Nashville Entertainment, along with producer Matt Thomson. The event was held to benefit the Boot Straps Foundation. Marathon Music Works was the location for the fund raiser. Music by Fabrizio and the Fever.

TJ Cates, host of Nashville Entertainment Weekly, was working with L.A. and New York producers, who were in Nashville to hold auditions for thousands of hopefuls that landed in Music City. What we found were a good collection of talent and funny artists.​

We take our camera and film the sweet, the pretty, the educated, the crazy, the mad, and the drunk. We have been to Nashville Beer Festival, Oktoberfest, Franklin Wine Festival, Wine on the Bridge, Taste of Music City, Nashville Beer and Food Fest, Live on the Green, and so many more.

Up from Australia playing a tour in Nashville Steve Payne with his band Tennessee Down Under walks and talks with Nashville Entertainment Weekly host TJ Cates. Along with his entourage this was a very good night following his send off party in the Gulch. Follow Steve and his band members on facebook and twitter to see when they will restart the U.S. tour. The East Nashville Beer fest was a Big hit this year. We roamed around with the camera and stopped and talked to the crowd and got some found some fun people. They were all out enjoying the great weather and all of the Food and Local Brewers giving Samples.
