Why Read The Comics?

In this episode the boys give a few excuses for missing February. They aren't really sorry, they'll do this again. Daniel talks about his horrible sleep schedule. Clay talks about how frequently he becomes aggressively confused. They also talk about how people who say they remember being a kid are full of shit.

It's a new year and the same old fucked up podcast. Surprise! You think we'd be better at this point. We aren't! Listen to us stumble through another year of comic book movies. We're starting with Hellboy, because of a new movie of something. Good luck, Clay and Daniel, maybe you'll live to the end!

Everyone's favorite excuse to drink in the daytime is back. Wait, weren't they supposed to watch another Blade film? Listen as Clay and special guest Eric casually don't explain why Daniel isn't in the episode. He died again, we're waiting for a Christmas miracle to bring him back. This episode was cursed to continually get interrupted, so that's fun. Enjoy. Brendan Gleeson is not Hagrid.

The guys talk about how it was the government's fault that they didn't post last month. They also talk some more about Sovereign Citizens again. This time with 50% less speculation. They also talk about things that upset them. Daniel has decided he's going to become a judge.

On this episode the guys talk about Alejandro Jodorowsky, specifically his spaghetti western film El Topo. We discuss the intricacies of the human voice.

The guy watch Blade (obviously). Daniel tells everyone a thrilling story about that one time he had hallucinations. Clay says some nonsense about the differences between radio and podcasts, he also introduces a new format idea for the podcast. We also welcome our new audience of sovereign citizens. It's a buncha good stuff.

Daniel and Clay watch Steel starring Shaquille "The Eel" O'neal. Daniel did the research on this one, so get ready for some solid facts. Japanese Wikipedia makes a return. They talk about Coco (the movie) and then Koko (The dead gorilla). They talk about the gorilla for a really long time. Like, probably too long. You know how this works.

Daniel and Clay start off the podcast way drunker than usual, and end it even drunker. That's fun. They pitch a Seq-Preq to A Quiet Place that takes place entirely in a Golden Corral. Daniel is getting old. He'll die eventually.

Two special guests for this Fantastic episode. Dan finally gives in and does meth to cope everything. Clay found a bootleg VHS tape that he makes his friends watch. One of the guests loses his mind. Surprise.

In this podcast we talk about Bruce Wayne's drinking problem, we also talk about what Daniel used to do when he was a kid (Spoiler: it was primarily being fat). Daniel also talks about his dark desires. 

In another installment of "when are they going to get to the movie?" Clay and Daniel talk about important foley work, they also talk about the importance of checking for bed snakes, and they also talk about dildonics, you'll have to listen to find out if that's a real word and what it really means. 

Daniel and Clay watch that movie everyone talks about from the nineties. They talk about the corporatization of our country. They also talk about The Incal, The Razzies, and Star Wars. You know how this goes.

We talk about Family Guy. Is Cleveland black face? We discuss it, but don't really come to any sort of conclusion. We also talk about Alejandro Jodorowsky and Clay plugs the Dune documentary a lot. Clay also says "Hot Pockets" at least one time.

Daniel runs the podcast into the ground and manipulates his way into making Clay watch Robocop 3. They talk about misquoting Roger Ebert, Nazis, the difference between Charlotte and Charlottesville. They also get interrupted by a rude doorbell.

Daniel and Clay talk about forgetting the name of the podcast. Clay tries to convince Daniel to watch the Lego Movie. It doesn't go well. We also talk about the free fall our podcast is taking.
