  • Late. Dark. Nights. Vol.19

    17/01/2017 Duración: 01h18min

Late. Dark. Nights. is back in 2017 with an all new mix and over an hour of pure techno. Up to now Vol.19, this session features new mixes of classic Moby tracks reinvented with a techno sound as well as several other artists. As always, Late. Dark. Nights. sets out to achieve a certain mood or experience in the music, and this session is no different. The bpms are kept low and sexy gradually building to move the set forward with both sounds and bass. At times, a familiar vocal, a whisper will further enhance the sexual nature of the music. This session features such producers and artists as Enrico Sangiuliano, Gaga, Alex Fuente, &Me, Pig & Dan, Miss Kittin, Boris Brejcha, Nicole Moudaber, ANNA, and Bart Skils to name a few. Late. Dark. Nights. Vol.19 is a live recording.

Vol.18 features such producers as Enrico Sangiuliano, Jei Ford, Paride Saraceni, Loco & Jam, Spektre, Hollen, Alberto Ruiz, Alan Fitzpatrick, Axel Karakasis, and Mark Reeve, to name a few. Vol.18 comes after a debut performance at Halcyon in Brooklyn, New York on October 13th as part of the ClubbersGuideNewYork showcase alongside Spin D and Lot.te. Halcyon is an independent record store specializing in marginally popular music genres but provided the perfect backdrop for another "techno electric" session of Late. Dark. Nights.

  • Late. Dark. Nights. Vol.17

    19/10/2016 Duración: 01h37min

Late. Dark. Nights. Vol.17 is taken from another set at Bossa Nova in Brooklyn, NY on August 16. Again, Bossa Nova is a modest venue but caters to local artists who serve anything from industrial techno to deep, underground house. For this volume, I give you an extended session of over an hour and a half of techno. Vol.17 brings a more melodic sound to keep with the sunset hour but keeps a pure underground vibe. At times, this set is hard and driving and at other times dark and a bit mysterious. Late. Dark. Nights. Vol.17 features such artists as Clio, Christian Smith, Tim Green, Francesca Lombardo, Timmo, Sian, Enrico Sangiuliano, Oliver Huntemann, Julian Jeweil, Dubfire, Ian O'Donovan, and Layton Giordani to name a few. But hopefully the music will speak for itself and Vol.17 will become yet another classic Late. Dark. Night.

  • Late. Dark. Nights. Vol.8

    20/09/2015 Duración: 01h12min

"If I was to define myself as a DJ, I would say that I am a techno DJ. DJBennyK is a techno DJ." That statement couldn't be any more true when you listen to his podcast series, Late. Dark. Nights. Now up to its 8th volume, Late. Dark. Nights. first set out to explore a deeper, darker side of dance music. That dance music was techno. But as you've heard before, "techno wasn't designed to be dance music. It was designed to a be a futuristic statement." - Jeff Mills. Late. Dark. Nights. explores the world of techno. All kinds of techno, what BennyK calls a modern techno. True to the style of Late. Dark. Nights., Vol.8 features heavyweight techno from such producers as Victor Calderone, Nicole Moudaber, Chris Leibing, Luigi Madonna, Etai Terazi, Alan Fitzpatrick, Jewel Kid, Alberto Ruiz, and Adam Beyer to name a few. Late. Dark. Nights. Vol.8 is hard-hitting, abstract, melodic at times, and is certainly a futuristic statement, not only about techno music but also about BennyK as a DJ. Head down the rabbit hole

  • Late. Dark. Nights. Vol.7

    20/09/2015 Duración: 01h26min

The Late. Dark. Nights. podcast series is back with Vol.7 and yet another experimental journey into the world of techno. "Techno wasn't designed to be dance music, it was designed to be a futuristic statement" - Jeff Mills. Techno is the future of electronic music. It's becoming more and more popular as is evident in the number of techno DJs and stages seen at music festivals everywhere. Late. Dark. Nights. celebrates this movement with Vol.7 featuring some of the most influential producers of techno right now such as Paul Ritch, Boris, Bart Skils, Victor Calderone, Nicole Moudaber, Luigi Madonna, Sam Paganini, Dubspeeka, and Adam Beyer to name a few. Head down the rabbit hole with me and experience the techno of Late. Dark. Nights.

  • Late. Dark. Nights. Vol.6

    06/12/2014 Duración: 01h21min

Inspiration: Science Fiction. Humans and Aliens at war. Perhaps humans and machines at war. Battling a technology we created. Only to be outsmarted by our creation. It is a war of two worlds. In a desolate space. But in the end even the machine wants to be human...wants to fall in love with a human. Techno lends itself very well to Science Fiction. And for Late. Dark. Nights. Vol.6, it should sound and translate like the soundtrack of this type of film. Think of Bladerunner or Prometheus. Think of techno telling the story of a futuristic world at battle. Or the desolation of an alien planet shrouded in darkness and mystery waiting to be explored regardless of the outcome or consequence. This is Late. Dark. Nights. Vol.6. Vol.6 features the works of Sam Paganini, Adam Beyer, DJ Entwan, Fresque, Marc Galindo, Hollen, Macromism, Cocodrills, Leondardo Gonelli, Alan Fitzpatrick, and Chus & Ceballos to name a few. Vol.6 is an unedited recording.

  • Late. Dark. Nights. Vol.5

    26/09/2014 Duración: 01h10min

Late. Dark. Nights. is inspired by those late, dark nights at the club…deep into the night where the BPMs are kept low and sexy…where it's not the vocals that drive the set forward but sounds, layers of beats and drums…the only audible vocals are not translatable or sometimes only a whisper further setting the mood of a late, dark night. Again, the stage is set. By now, you should know what Late. Dark. Nights. is all about…It's a feeling, a mood, an experience. Late. Dark. Nights. is a movement…a movement back to the underground. Late. Dark. Nights. Vol.5 features such producers as Adam Beyer, Sam Paganini, Saeed Younan, DJ Boris, Julian Jewell, Eric Sneo, Joel Mull, Alan Fitzpatrick, Marco Bailey, Pig&Dan, Harvey McKay, and Loco & Jam. Late. Dark. Nights. can happen anytime. Don't let the title mislead you. All you need is a connection to the music. It is dark and gritty. Perhaps it is a strange encounter…in a dark hallway or staircase. Who will be waiting for you in the late, dark, night?? Late. Dark.

  • Late. Dark. Nights. Vol.4

    14/07/2014 Duración: 01h20min

Late. Dark. Nights. is inspired by those late, dark nights at the club…deep into the night where the BPMs are kept low and sexy…where it's not the vocals that drive the set forward but sounds and layers of beats and drums…the only audible vocals are not translatable or sometimes only a whisper further setting the mood of a late, dark night. The stage is set. By now, you should know what Late. Dark. Nights. is all about…It's a feeling, a mood, an experience. Late. Dark. Nights. is a movement…a movement back to the underground. Late. Dark. Nights. Vol.4 continues this movement. This session was particularly inspired by the music heard at such events as The Awakenings Festival in Amsterdam as well as Drumcode Radio pioneered by Adam Beyer. Yes, Late. Dark. Vol. 4 features such artists as Joseph Capriati, Baggi Begovic,
