As a child Peter Mutabazi ran away from an abusive home and was helped by the kindness of strangers. As an adult he found  himself in a position of being able to help foster children, so he began taking children into his home years ago to give back what was so freely given to him. It's his mission to give back as much as he can to the vulnerable among us. Torie Dimartile is a doctoral student in Sociocultural Anthropology at Indiana University studying the impact of systemic racism on domestic transracial adoption and an advocate for racial justice in the Christian church. She herself is a transracial adoptee on a lifelong journey towards a healthy racial identity.
