Music for Video Games has come a long way since bleeps, bloops, and 8 bit Power Metal. They've become full-blown soundtracks recording hours of live orchestra in scoring stages, going through barriers of meticulous scrutiny to ensure that the music accurately reflects the characters, story, and emotion of the project. Today, we sit down with music composer Neal Acree, who first got his gears rolling writing music for film for free in an effort to get his name in the industry bucket. With passion fueling him, he turned his craft into a full blown career winning awards and creating the signature sound of not just one, but several of the biggest International Video Games such as World of Warcraft and Revelation Online. Without even talking or thinking about it, we place our relationships in a box. With very hard lines. Very rigid. And we expect the other person to adhere to these boundaries.

For some strange reason, it takes a strong, secure, and confident person to be able to just f*cking say "Thank you" to kind words. .

We all say we appreciate receiving honesty but very few of us are actually willing to give it. As an adult, you should have the courage to say how you feel, ask for what you want, and voice a decision that’s your choice without the concern of upsetting someone or fear of not being accepted.

If you’re not enjoying things that make up your life as you live and breathe today, then change those things. If there are outcomes of situations out of your control (which there will be), so be it. Move on.  What’s the point of allowing your body to expend energy on situations that cannot be controlled anyway? It’s just a way to monopolize your mind down a path that leads to a void you’re already aware of.

There comes a time in everyone’s life, where we must look at ourselves in the mirror, acknowledge the time that has passed, the shit that we went through, and find a way to look forward. The past does not dictate your future...unless you allow it to. You can be the kink in the chain that diverts the repetition and starts a new generation.

It is far more effective and massively more enjoyable to play to your strengths rather than turning a weakness around. Why spend the time and energy living off of hope that a negative could possibly turn to neutral at best? It will not only benefit your quality of life, but the results are radically more substantial.

You will never feel more freedom than truly knowing that not a single person is concerned with your actions, decisions, or appearance.

Rise Bar is now distributed via Amazon, Whole Foods, Sprouts and other retail locations, backed by a passionate leader and a healthy company culture.

Once you get behind the 10 cents or the 10 dollars, the next step is giving up 10 seconds or 10 minutes. 10 seconds maybe by going out of your way to open a door for someone who is holding groceries or needs help loading furniture from the store to their car. 10 minutes perhaps by calling someone you haven’t spoken to in a while, maybe your mother or grandparents. Something so simple can go so far.
