Sinopsis
My mission with this project is to carve out a place in the open source broadcasting world where we can explore our relationship with music as it correlates to the human experience. Music identifies and shapes culture, can move us to tears, force us on our feet to dance, gets people's attention in order to tell a story, embellish moments in theater. Music is a universal language, where we paint the dimension of time, breaching the boundaries that language naturally sets. It gives us hope, helps us get through hardships and triumphs from the mundane things such as chores around the house or moments of reflection during major events in our lives. I will also draw upon common themes of childhood, musings on life and death, as well as anything I find appropriate to talk about with the guests. Step out of your comfort zone shaped by the common broadcast format, subvert your expectations, and prepare to ride the wave of this movement with me.

Conscription, Slavery, and the Civil War w/CJ of Dangerous History
22/07/2018 Duración: 01h17minThe title pretty well explains this episode. Opening with a monologue from Murray Rothard's "Ethics of Liberty" on the subject of conscription, setting a tone rejecting of the legitimacy of this practice. 04/07/2018 Duración: 46min22 veterans commit suicide everyday. This should give people pause who are tolerant or supportive of the foreign policy establishment. Today's episode breaks a hiatus of Subversion, having had to take a few months off to recover from a rather life disrupting illness. Why Syria Matters
14/04/2018 Duración: 41minThis episode provides a little bit of context that can more adequately inform the events that are currently unfolding than you may get from a TV news report. To understand what's really going on, at a bare minimum we need to visit 1953 when the US overthrows the Mosaddegh regime in Iran and installs the Shah. When you peal back the onion to figure out the truth of what's happening in the Middle East, we uncover layers of proxy wars and in fighting within each given syndicate in struggles to power. A region of the world torn by a century of war, ever since the overthrow of the Ottoman Empire in World War One. There's a lot of history and context to these conflicts that even the most outspoken of us can struggle to comprehend, but at the very least we could at least agree that we don't know enough to start toppling power structures in this tenuous part of the world. Despite having the largest military in the world, Americans have resigned to cowering in fear of a country with an economy the

Freeing Yourself First w/ Antony Sammeroff
17/03/2018 Duración: 59minThis episode is quite a treat. Antony Sammeroff was gracious enough to take the time to deliver to us his thoughts on libertarianism, how this phenomenon manifests itself across the Atlantic, and how it dovetails with self development. You'll also hear in this episode your host relay his own experience with using self help and how it effected his own quality of life and unique circumstances which lead to my current worldview. You don't want to miss this one, or any like it in the future. Please subscribe on your podcatcher of choice so you never miss an episode. The Problem of Domestic Violence ft. Patrick of Liberty Weekly
07/03/2018 Duración: 01h08minIn this episode with Patrick of the Liberty Weekly podcast, I interview him on his paper he wrote on the subject of domestic violence. Coming at this from a libertarian angle can sometimes fall on deaf ears of people who believe that we simply need to use the state to police the problem. Setting aside the moral injury of using the social apparatus of violence, we should take pause in reflection of the ineptitude of government to solve this issue. But we don't just spend the whole time focused on criticism, we also show a great example of effectively protecting victims from violence. Dale Brown of the Detroit Threat Management Center holds under his resume an impressive track record of crisis intervention without the common problem we notice in public policing of collateral damage. The number of officer involved shootings is effectively 0, being as a method of deescalation is employed instead of coming in with guns blazing.

What Libertarianism is, and what it is not
27/01/2018 Duración: 49minThis installment of Subversion features an opening monologue about highlighting the double standard a lot of folks tend to have about private entities when compared to public entities. Your host then gives a cursory look the framework for the various libertarian schools of thought, then tackles a "Libertarianism Debunked" video produced by The Young Turks point by point to flesh out the simplified and straw clad version of libertarianism TYT provided. It is clear that Hasan Piker has not even a clue what his opposition really believes and we expose that, even if the video came out in August 2016 the same ol' fallacies keep getting thrown at you. Visit the Libertarian Union to find other great podcasts ranging from heavy topics such as Foreign Policy Focus and legal theory through a libertarian lens with Liberty Weekly, or just something light and fun with Daniel and Robert over at Actual Anarchy for movie reviews from a hardcore libertarian perspective.

The Inaugural Libertarian Union Meetup
13/01/2018 Duración: 01h26minI know that libertarians are an individualistic bunch and are anti-collectivist, but there's something to be said about the usefulness of voluntary coalitions. This week we bring you an in person conversation between Patrick MacFarlane of the Liberty Weekly podcast where his staple topic has been centered around aspects of law from the perspective of an anarchocapitalist. We discuss tactics, pragmatism, conspiracies, net neutrality, the left-right dichotomy, culture, and among other tangential topics. Subscribe to Pat's show and follow his blog over at LibertyWeekly.net Patrick and I crossed paths through both doing libertarian podcasts, having both become part of a podcast network called The Libertarian Union. 2017 in Retrospect
08/01/2018 Duración: 51minWhat begins as a retrospective look at the show over the past year, quickly turns into an episode devoted to yours truly's pet issue, foreign policy. I will provide some key pieces of information that has helped form my understanding of the geopolitical quagmire in the Middle East/North-East Africa region, with a lot of help from clips made my various other media outlets. Who are the big players, why each faction leverages power against each other, and under which proxies. These are the big questions we need to be asking ourselves, and there's a lot to unravel. Consider this setting a precedent for 2018's trajectory as a show, where you can expect to see more of the curtain be pulled back, as we subvert the gatekeepers of narrative.

Talking "Dangerous History" with Prof CJ of The Dangerous History Podcast
17/12/2017 Duración: 01h36minYou've been cautioned by the title of this episode. Just as it says, contained within the next hour and a half of audio is a discussion on the subject of history from a perspective you may not have previously been able to see given the information provided at the time. In this rather conversational interview, listen as CJ and Trey stumble upon subjects such as Ronald Reagan, George Bush, war and peace, draining the Florida Everglades, and much more. This is your security force
09/12/2017 Duración: 19minIt was announced this morning that Ex-Mesa, AZ police officer Philip Brailsford was acquitted of second degree murder and reckless manslaughter. This will come to no surprise to anyone familiar with criminal justice reform, being as the thin blue line of legal protection benefits the monopoly security forces throughout America. Police are all but trained to shoot first and ask questions later, and there is no better case than the deadly encounter which ended the life of Daniel Shaver. Warning, this video is very graphic, but is important to observe the near execution style tactic officer Brailsford coldly employed. Here are the facts. Daniel Shaver (a pest control worker) was showing off his pellet gun in his hotel room, when some busybody saw the gun through a window. These guests told the hotel management, who called police, then the video linked above ensued. Panicking and obviously confused, Daniel frantically attempts to obey every single command the officer

Rants, Rock & Roll, and Q&A
19/11/2017 Duración: 40minThis episode contains a rant by yours truly, as well as a clarification as to the future of the content on this podcast. The first half I take you on a path down questioning some of the worst things I've noticed as well as a story about a conversation I had with a drone pilot. As the show has evolved since it's advent, there have been a lot of sharp turns and 180's but now it is safe to say that the intended goal will be to bridge the gap between libertarianism as a thought experiment read about by wishful people. No, some people have to be out there engaging in entertainment to give some influence. People like Doug Stanhope and Dave Smith are great examples of libertarians out there on stage asking the questions no one else will ask on the nightly news. The music you hear for the first 20 minutes underneath the monologue is by Yndi Halda, from their album Enjoy Eternal Bliss

Problems with American law enforcement with former officer Raeford Davis
11/11/2017 Duración: 01h24minI had a chance to talk to Raeford Davis, former police officer with Charleston, South Carolina. This was a unique encounter for me, being as most police officers I know do not share much in common from a basic philosophical view. The opportunity to find a truly principled libertarian who has had experiences inside Leviathan is seeming to become more common. Some places to find Raeford's writing: An interview in GQ The mistitled article, Why I Hated Being a Cop in collaboration with Vice. Raeford's Twitter handle: @RaefordD Following the tragic events in Sutherland Springs, Texas the Holcomb family lost 8 of their own. A War for Culture or Competing Cultures of Warfare? Pt. 2
22/10/2017 Duración: 01h46sPicking up where we left off in Part one of this episode, Jordan and I expose the blind spots on both of the polarizing factions surrounding the immigration debate. We also further describe the machinations of this perceived culture war that we are witnessing. This topic seems to have it's roots entangled closely to the secession movements we've been witnessing worldwide, some would say in response to a rise in international hegemony. This is a project I donated to this week. Exercise your right to make things right with DonorSee.com to donate to a someone in need.

The Iran Deal with Will Porter
14/10/2017 Duración: 47minP5+1 is an agreement between Iran under duress of the United States, Great Britain, France, Germany, Russia and China. Between rising tensions following decades of conflict with various Iranian regimes, hawks on both sides have turned what would be the most stringent restrictions on use of nuclear material, into something of a quagmire. I'm joined by journalist Will Porter to discuss the history of Iranian and American relations, as well as their place in geopolitics in general. The deal has four key provisions which act as the tightest safeguards on use of nuclear material in history. 1) no enrichment of U above 5% U-235, and all highly-enriched materials, some as high as 20% U-235, must be blended down to less than 5% or altered to a form not usable for weapons. 2) no additional centrifuges are to be installed or produced, and three-fourths of the centrifuges at Fordow and half of the centrifuges at Natanz will be inoperable, 3) stop all work on the heavy-water reactor at Arak, provide design

#25 - Shane Mauss
01/10/2017 Duración: 01h26minThis episode really is what set a chain of events leading to a change in the show's structure going forward. This was the first episode we had recorded breaking out of the strictly musician only guest format. Shane and I had some laughs, talked about the greater purpose of the psychedelic experience and the role that his evolution in comedy ultimately lead him to a podcast about evolutionary psychology and science.

Forbidden Notion #2 - A War for Culture or Competing Cultures of Warfare? Pt. 1
16/09/2017 Duración: 53minThose of us who have been peered into the right (or wrong) pockets of individuals on the internet, you'll find all kind of terribly disturbing views. Things we find atrocious. Yet it seems like people put a microscope to certain events, inferring an immediate threat. Even people predisposed to favoring sovereignty of a given person or group of people, sacrifice the greatest of minority of all, the individual in the pursuit of preserving it. Today we explore this phenomenon of, wrought with many forms of false dichotomy and expectations of abandoning the most basic moral duty to do no harm. The end result of which, if the revolutionaries get their way, is a top-down bloody revolution we have seem repeated in observable cycles throughout history. To talk with me about this today, is Jordan Flati. "Live for yourself, There's no one else More worth living for Begging hands and bleeding hearts will only cry out for more Anthem of the heart and anthem of the mind A funeral dirge for e
