We're talking about thrifting once again! The guys talk about the roots of success learned in our younger years. We learn lessons in sports, as well as the classroom. This can lead to selling later in life on platforms like eBay, Amazon, and Etsy. They chat briefly about the result of Super Bowl 50, and how it ties into the conversation. There's nothing wrong with being stoic and humble. Sometimes it's a matter of getting back to work and getting better. Mike talks about how successful people aren't usually surprised by their success. They knew what it took to make it happen. The conversation eventually turns to working through adversity. "If you keep working, it's going to work," Mike explains. That leads to an exploration of barriers to entry. Just having talent isn't enough.
