Sots Watch

***SPOILERS AHEAD*** Sotskers! This, our 4th Super Special Spoiler Sode, and it may be the superest, specialest, spoileriest, sode to date! We've waited patiently and finally we've been rewarded with the release of "Captain Marvel!" We three Sots will be recapping the major plot points, offering our evaluations of the film, and surmising the good Captain's place in the MCU at large.  Did the internet trolls win? Salutations Sotskers, in this sode the Sots speculate sequels! We talk about that which might be, that which probably shall not be, and that which must NEVER be! We also cover news including the Captain Marvel trailers and the weird and likely unproductive fight Steven Spielberg is picking with Netflix. And in #AaronHasntSeen we test Aaron on his knowledge of noir classic, "The Maltese Falcon."

Sotskers, it's the Sotscars! We give our picks for who should win and who will win. Will we be right!? Will we be wrong!? Will . . . Smith looks fucking terrible in Aladdin.  Also, #AaronHasntSeen breaks new ground with the movie "Birdman."

Well Sotskers, the big game has come and gone and man was it . . .  But MORE IMPORTANTLY there were several interesting trailers in and amongst the steaming pile of mediocrity that was Superbowl LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII, and we're gonna talk about what these trailers taught us about the upcoming projects, and life in general. Avengers!? Scary Stories?! Marvel!? Aaron?! Hasn't!? Seen?!

***SPOILER ALERT*** The Sots have finished Red Dead Redemption 2 and we're ready to break it down. With a story that rivals the great western novels and films there's a lot to process here so join us as we discuss gameplay, story themes, the flaws and the resounding successes of this instant classic.  We also have the very first #AaronHasntSeen challenge, in which Aaron takes his best stab at summarizing the plot of a movie he's never seen. Happy Holidays Sotskers, we have reached the final episode of the season, and it being the Holiday season we decided to dedicate this episode to Christmas movies. Which are naughty? Which are nice? We three Sots are big fans of Bo Burnham so we were very excited to go and see his directorial and screenwriting debut, Eighth Grade. We talk through the film and decide why we think it's (spoiler alert) an instant classic.
