The summer box office smash Top Gun Maverick has left its mark on movie goers, and I’ve invited fighter pilots, Lt. Col. Lance Bowlin from the One-Seventy Second Airlift in Flowood, MS and Capt. Benjamin Ayivorh from Columbus Air Force Base in Columbus, MS to talk about the history and impact that they have on the state as well as the impact that Mississippi Air Force Bases have on the nation. Since joining Ole Miss Rebels Baseball in 2000, Coach Mike Bianco has proven that diligence definitely pays off. On this Valentine's Day, we shared a love story about Kay and Nolan Mettetal, South Panola High School sweethearts who were married for almost 56 years. Nolan passed away at age 75 on Dec. 28, 2020, after battling COVID-19. The couple were just three months away from their 56th wedding anniversary.
