Chances are it will, and it may cost you money or worse. Oh sure we had fun with other stuff too, but you really have got to listen to this informative show featuring Dr. Claire Rutledge, Entomologist from Connecticut's own New Haven Agricultural Experiment Station....and Katie, her very smart daughter. • Garden Talk: An Ode To Song Birds - Part 2 (12/29/18)

    29/12/2018 Duración: 44min

A special show to end out 18th year on the air. How time flies... and so we dedicated this week's show to our flying friends, the song birds. As gardeners, we appreciate what the birds do for us in keeping down insect populations. OK, I realize they can be a pain when it comes to fruit production but in most cases more is gained by their presents than lost. Let's face it there's not a lot to do in the garden this time of the year. Our guest was Harlan Hyde of the Aspen Song Bird Seed Co., a regional provider of quality seed for all types of birds. Listen in to hear some very insightful info on bird seed, feeders, and of course....how to keep the Squirrels at bay. Lastly you'll never look at a turkey vulture the same way again. Until next time...we'll see you in the garden! -Len
