  • Episode 188 - Kronch from Trout Tunes - a stroll down memory lane...

    18/03/2013 Duración: 53min

Kronch and I have known each other for many years. He was filming and interviewing live bands here in Omaha since before most of you videoheads were in high school. Podcasting was a fantasy. Love Drunk was a but a far off dream of a young Django. When you wanted to Hearnebraska, you had to either be there or tune in. Back in the 90's it was quite the chore to showcase music on television and computers were still not ready for mass video consumption. Yet somehow, Kronch and a band of misfit tech-heads made a show that chronicled a bit of Omaha music history. We chat about it and reminisce on old times.  The weekly hour long TV show featuring performances of local, regional and national alternative rock, reggae and blues acts taped live on location. Trout Tunes aired from 1991 to 1999 in Omaha, Lincoln and Wichita.
