The AniTAY Podcast has survived a lot of things: Raitzeno’s cooking, coronavirus, the fall of Gawker, and even the rise of the Animasocists. But in this decrepit age of corrupt politicians and ragged masses of Twitter users huddled in the internet cold, one is tempted to recall a brighter time, a time when the only airs our heroes put on were Jordans. At long last, the hot take of the year that you all have been waiting for: AniTAY’s top anime of 2019! In this episode of the AniTAY Podcast, we go through the official AniTAY list as shown in our three part article series. Author TGRIP collected the top 10 anime from each AniTAY author, assigned points based on rank (i.e. #1 receives 10 points, #2 receives 9, etc), tallied the total score for each show, and created our official top anime list from the results. The AniTAY Podcast rings in the new year with a preview for the winter 2020 anime season. Listen in as AniTAY authors gasp in horror at the terrors that await them in the new year.
