  • S1E8 Skinheads, Smashing the Fash, and the Original French Antifa 7.2.17

    03/07/2017 Duración: 54min

anarchy (1)......... jesus CW: Graphic depictions of violence against nazis and cops. ------ Notes from Nov 2020: I was weirdly defensive about there being POC antifascists in Portland, which is true but also the scene is very white, and it causes a lot of problems. It is important to acknowledge hearing from someone who came from outside of town and noticed right away how much whiter the antifa groups now are than they were in Europe in the 70's, and how the people the he saw doing fighting nazis during the street warfare against boneheads in the 80's and early 90's in Portland were Black. ----- "Why were there no nazis in your town?" "Because they get smash." Nazi hunting, baseball bats, Doc Martins, ska, fighting cops, and fucking up racists all over Europe, to fighting nazis in late 1980's/early 1990's Portland. All in a very thick French accent. Notes: - It's "Mulugeta" Seraw, I mispronounced his name. Referenced: Skrewdriver- Neo-Nazi band About defense in New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina:
