Traveling along a long and winding road of misadventures to his intended destination, he found that this road itself was where the magic was happening, and that it wasn’t what was happening to him that was important, but how he reacted to the happening …and how that reaction led to Michael becoming the founder and creator of our website here at Rise Up Eight.

  • 109_PK_109___Kick Ass Life - Commandment 1 - Gratitude with Gemma McCrae

    30/07/2018 Duración: 18min

The ‘Attitude of Gratitude’ theory has had a huge resurgence in the past ten years. We’ve been encouraged to write gratitude lists, keep a gratitude diary, feel grateful and act grateful. For a good reason. Quite simply, by feeling grateful we can instantly change how we feel, and, by changing how we feel, we will attract good things to us. There is science to back this up, but in a nutshell: ‘Like Attracts Like’. If we think good thoughts or more importantly feel good, we will attract good things. Notice I’ve highlighted the word ‘feel’. It’s not enough to think of something you are grateful for; you have to feel the gratitude and feel emotion. Otherwise, it won’t work. So, how can you feel gratitude. Listen to the podcast to find out!
