How to Negotiate Repairs
01/04/2016 Duración: 11minAfter you find a buyer for your property, they're most likely going to come to you with a list of repairs they'd like fixed before they close on the property. Tony Javier sits down with you and shares how he negotiates which repairs you should and shouldn't take care of. Make sure to asses the repairs and see what are little fixes you can handle and what fixes you need to hire a contractor for. Its also important to see which problems are at the fault of your sub-contractor, in which case he needs to fix. Be sure to check life expectancy for big items, if the roof functions and still has ten years left in it, you don't need to replace it. Usually if buyers really want the house they won't be unreasonable in their requests, be sure to asses which repairs are worth losing the buyer over and which are not.
