The Stanley Cup Final is set. It’s the Oilers and the Panthers just as some of us predicted. Not Mat Smith and Kyle Reese though who are in for Mike and Stink this morning. Who are the guys rooting for here as well as the NBA Finals? Mat reflects on the state of the Broncos by asking listeners what the storyline would be had the Broncos gotten Hard Knocks.

Is Luka on top now in Jokic’s place? That will be the narrative if the Mavs go on to win the finals. Mat and Kyle give their thoughts on that before asking how the Broncos can develop an identity this year. What kind of identity do they need to develop? And, are the Broncos in a rebuild period right now or is this another band aid year?

Hour 3 is all about the Broncos “rebuild,” if you can even call it that. Kyle makes a case that it is while Mat thinks it’s just another band aid season. Then, our Denversports.com Chief Editor James Merilatt joins the show and takes Mike and Mark to task for being Sean Payton stans saying Sean Payton isn’t impressive enough to not be questioned for his decision making.

New details come out regarding the Shilo Sanders lawsuit including a video that shows part of the altercation. The Mavs take care of business last night and head to the NBA Finals. Soooo…the Timberwolves aren’t that good, and the Nuggets just blew it? Mat Smith and Kyle Reese debate. Sean Payton was in good sprits yesterday while speaking to the press after OTAs and gives us somewhat of an update on Bo Nix.

Luka Doncic went off last night winning the Western Conference Finals and Mat and Kyle are preparing for the media to label him the best player in the NBA. Que the Jokic comparisons. Sean Payton lets us know how Javonte Willaims is doing…what are we expecting him to contribute to the team this year? Finally, Mat and Kyle compete in a spelling bee!

The media has inferred a lot from Broncos OTA’s thus far, but Sean Payton urges us not to look too far into the rotations that we’ve seen and that they’re just “happen stance”. So, is Bo Nix the guaranteed starter? Are Seans expectations higher or lower heading into this season? Finally, has Anthony Edwards proven the media wrong that he’s not the next Michael Jordan?

Our very own Cecil Lammey joins Mat Smith and Kyle Reese to give us the down low on everything he saw out of Broncos OTAs thus far. What does Bo Nix's arm really look like and have his expectations for the season changed for the season? Mat and Kyle return to their spelling bee competition.  

Mat Smith in for Mike Evans this morning as Stink challenges listeners to figure out how much water belongs in his koi pond. Earlier this week Mike Klis said that inside the Clubhouse, the Broncos expect themselves to be a good team this year. Mat gets Stinks take on that before we hear from our Denver Post Insider Troy Renck who tells us all about what he saw at OTA’s, the difference in this year’s roster outside of the QB room and what a successful season will look like for Sean Payton.

There seems to be a sense of optimism creeping around the corner here in Denver for the Broncos. Jame Palmer said yesterday that the #1 thing to figure out this year is whether or not Bo Nix was the right pick. Then, Joel Klatt says that CU should be a lot better this year if they strengthen their protection for Shedeur, but Stink says it’s not as simple as going out and getting a bunch of big guys that’s going to make you a good team.

The Broncos have a 1 in 31 chance of making it to the Superbowl and 1 in 16 chances of making it to the playoffs- so it’s not off the wall to have Debbie downer expectations for this team. Mat explains his “ceiling theory” to help define what success would look like this year. Also, who is the best offensive player on the squad right now and what does that say about the state of this roster?

Sean Payton essentially referred to his QB room as a bunch of rescue dogs. How are Mat and Stink feeling about that? Also, why exactly is Zach Wilson here? Ocean Gate Part II, Rockies shocking the world, Bronny Jr. and Stinks Western Michigan Broncos are the topics of discussion as we close out the show. 

Well well well, the Timberwolves stay alive. How likely is it they’ll win another game against the Mavs? Stink is still sore from all that yard work he did over the weekend, but it doesn’t stop him from weighing in on the new NFL offseason changes. Finally, we hear from Tom Brady who provides great insight on developing rookie QB’s.

Yesterday Mike and Mark discussed what would make a successful first season for Bo Nix, but what would make a bad first season for him? Here goes Mike with his predictions-saying the Chiefs will not 3 peat this season. Let’s hope he’s right about that. Finally, Tom Brady talked about how important it is for young QB’s to have a mentor- should Sean Payton bring Drew Brees in during training camp?

It’s no secret that it’s likely KCP won’t be with us next season. Rumors are circulating about a possible landing spot for him, and Stink isn’t mad at it. New audio comes out of Scottie Scheffler explaining what happened that day when he almost missed his tee time. Then, is Sean Payton building a bully ball offense?  

Mike and Mark get into an epic argument after hearing Tom Brady say the same thing that Stink has been preaching everyday since the draft. Then, we hear an amazing story from Mike Breen about Bill Walton as we continue to remember his legacy.

Mike and Mark are back after Memorial Day weekend where Stink took care of business with his lawn care. A lot happened in the NBA and NHL playoffs as well. What does the Timberwolves getting smoked by the Mavs say about the Nuggets? Then, our 9News Broncos Insider Mike Klis joins the show to tell us about Bo Nix’s progression and which current Broncos QB is in the most trouble in terms of keeping their job.

We haven’t even reached the NBA Finals yet and there are already juicy trade rumors circulating. Should the Nuggets take advantage of a potential big name being available? Mike and Stink remember the great Bill Walton before Mike plays a little game with Stink which lends proof that missing on a QB is what causes loosing in the NFL.

Mike continues to make his case for why the Nuggets should trade KCP and MPJ for Kevin Durant while Stink remains unsure. Then, Mike asks, do the Broncos have the worst QB room in the NFL? He addresses the Sean Payton nay sayers and asks: If Payton’s not the answer, then who is?
