Daryl Topalian is our special guest on this week's show. We take a look at how Daryl became The Voice of the So Cal Seahorses. Daryl discusses the importance of lacing up your boots and taking it to the field on issues regarding coaching, parenting, and how to develop your God given talent. We also hear his faith and soccer story. This interview is fun and full of life, Daryl is open and willing to admit he is not perfect, but he remains open to God's guiding voice and leading.

USA Women Win the 2015 World Cup! Who did you watch it with? Not a soccer fan before but you are now? We also discuss the US Men's opening match vs Honduras. And a motivated interview with Pastor Nolz who is known in the Virginia community of the Eastern Shore as not only a man of God, but as an outstanding soccer coach. For over twenty seven years he has coached soccer in the public school system, worked with the YMCA, Accomack Soccer League and directs the Paul Nolz Indoor Soccer League. Every summer he has sponsored and coached the Paul Nolz Soccer Camp and the Rock Church VBS Sports Camp which reaches over 240 kids annually. His son Joshua played soccer professionally in the first division and on the USA National Sand Soccer Team!

I have a guest join us on the program Tim Ogunniyi from the So Cal Seahorses and College Soccer Player at APU; we talk about how God views beauty and we discuss whether stars like Alex Morgan, Ronaldo, Messi, Tom Brady, Sydney Leroux are aware and using beauty for their benefit. A sensitive and very real part of modern professional sports. After this show you may still have questions, but you will at the least know what the bible says about it. We also discuss the World Cup Semifinal matches along with the upcoming WC Final.

We discuss the Women's World Cup Quarterfinal results from the US vs China and France vs Germany games. We look ahead at Germany vs US. Also Shanna Hudson joins us on the program; she is a US/Haitian Women's Professional Soccer Player that recently played in World Cup Qualifiers for Haiti. She shares her faith/soccer story.

Do you have a fever? Shore Up in June is highlighting both the Women's World Cup and the U20 Men's World Cup. The USWNT has learned there fate and is advancing to the Round of 16! So is Canada! Our US U20's say farewell as they depart heroically losing on penalties kicks in a closely contested match with Serbia. On the second half of our broadcast Tom Steigleman joins us to discuss his recent trip to Vancouver to watch the US vs Nigeria game; a pro American crowd left him with a heart filled patriotic experience! GO USA! I believe!

Do you have a fever? Shore Up in June is highlighting both the Women's World Cup and the U20 Men's World Cup. This past week was one of the most historical weeks ever for the USMNT. We also discuss a story that Fox Sports 1 featured about Megan Rapinoe just before the USWNT took on Australia. It's a sensitive issue but Shore Up asks questions and we hope you will be open minded to our response. We also finish the broadcast with an interview by Head Coach Tim Strader of the IWU (Indiana Wesleyan University) women's team. Tim has a great soccer/faith story you won't want to miss. This is week 7, David A. Boyd joins us on the broadcast to help us navigate the waters of youth soccer in America. He will give insight into the parents perspective of youth soccer and the importance of parents influencing the next generation of youth athletes in our country. David is a long time sports enthusiast, father to a BU10 club player, and he will share how he is using his past experience as a competitive cycler in Italy, to help guide his son through the daunting world of youth soccer. David Boyd is also a renowned scientist at the Caltech Institute in Pasadena CA. He recently made an amazing discovery with the material Graphene, that is sure to change our lives, opening up an array of possible game-changing products; using this stretchable, flexible, transparent, and impermeable material could help in creating super-efficient see-through solar cells and even giant video screens you could hang on your walls like a sheet of paper; just to name a few possibilities. This is week 6, We bring to you Bill Galipault the Director or Training in the Southern California Seahorse organization. A division of Missionary Athletes International, the Seahorses run camps, missionary outreach programs, and pride themselves on glorify God through the vehicle of soccer. They are changing lives through a season of service. A big part of this ministry is managing a PDL team that plays in the challenging Southwest Division of the USL-PDL. It is through this time that you really see the lives of players transformed through a season of service. Players are trained by Bill through what is called SMT Training, and they are deployed to camps for kids, onto the field to compete, and even to a mission trip to Mexico with the team. A wonderful experience that I took part in myself. Bill Galipault is a big reason this organization is successful and he will explain in this interview how success in his organization is measured, as well as tell his story.

This is week 4, We are halfway through the current series examining our nation through the lens of soccer. The Women's game in America has gone through an ever changing landscape, with shifting leagues, startups, and shutdowns, as the Women's game in our country seeks stability. With a moderate fan base and instability financially leagues are struggling to find consistency. However the US has a stellar resume regarding US National Team accomplishments. American/Haitian Shanna Hudson joins us this week; recently played for Haiti in their campaign to qualify for the upcoming FIFA Women's World Cup in Canada. She is also in hot pursuit of a pro career in the USA.
