The boys are back with a new look. No PJ hasn’t changed his hair again - I’m Grand Mam has had a bit of a refresh. It’s the penultimate episode of 2023 and it’s a special one. PJ’s fiancé and Kevin’s secret lover Jose is making his I’m Grand Mam debut. It’s been a long time coming but the lads have finally invested in a brand new microphone setup and it’s only taken them 4 and a half years. Only stunning audio quality to follow from henceforth. This week the boys are bringing you a very special episode in partnership with Science Week. But of course, the lads couldn’t just wing their way through this one so they enlisted the help of award-winning science communicator, Dr Fergus McCauliffe who is the Communications and Public Engagement Manager at iCRAG. The boys are recording from PJ's hotel room again and Kevin's trying to get PJ cancelled by saying he demanded an accessible room because he needed extra space for his boots and to practice his TikTok routines. The lads are recording live from a hotel in London and decide to put on dressing gowns and slippers to give the illusion of grandeur, despite Kevin saying that he thinks lads in dressing gowns are a bit of an ick.
