She is a former Miss MTSU winner, founder of "RAIDERTHON" a fundraiser for Vanderbilt Children's Hospital that is still happening to this day, she is finishing up her masters at Lipscomb University in Nashville (Summer of 2019), she is an Impact Specialist at Special Kids Therapy and Nurse Center and is just a really great example of everything we are really about here at Spread The Positive. Kristen actually had some health complications as a young child and received treatment at Special Kids and is now working as Impact Specialist for the same organization that ultimately saved her life. The mission of Nourish is to feed families/people and fuel hope within the middle TN region. Ladawna is also a Diplomat with the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce and is always active in making a positive impact in the community. She was very instrumental in opening the new "Hub" of Nourish Food Bank that also houses other nonprofits like Endure Athletics (a common shout out on the pod), Junior Achievement, Community Help Partners and CLIFF all under the same roof providing a variety of community outreach efforts. There have been several requests for this type of interview to take place and they finally made it happen. Troy does an amazing job speaking about how he has been involved with helping the brand grow and has some great questions to get some more information on where everything is heading with Spread The Positive. "300 Billion to One is an inspirational book for all ages. A Clinical Therapist loses his own motivation to live after the passing of his beloved wife. He regains it after God sends back his wife to visit him two weeks after she passed to help him move forward again. Recognizing that the experience with simple odds could be explained away by non-believers, he thanked God, wrote the odds in his grief journal and asked God to not let him forget the experience a week, month or year from now. God answered with a series of interventions within minutes. A former neighbor came to his home while he was praying this prayer of thanks. He greeted her and she related to him her dream recounting the exact experience the SAME night BEFORE hearing his story!
