Blink And You'll Miss It

Leon joins us for another episode this week as we take it back to another 80's influenced track from Untitled! Leon talks about the film clip for this one (which can be found below!) and how he used it to shape young minds and influence future filmmakers! We also briefly discuss "serious Tom voice" and giggle like schoolchildren at the word "titular".

First, I have to say that I discovered way too late that for all of Leon's episodes, I had the wrong episode number in my notes! So, any time I ever say a number on a Leon episode, subtract 1! That being said, WE HAVE A SPECIAL GUEST! Leon from Yeah G'day! My friend and podcasting colleague! He joins us to discuss this gigantic smash of a song that was possibly bigger as a music video (or film clip) than it was as a radio single!

We close out our first week of shows with the first song from an actual Blink-182 side project: (I joked yesterday in a Facebook group that The Cure was a Blink-182 side project and their only song was "All of This". It was hilarious. Everyone said so.........ahem) Box Car Racer! I do a little history of the band and their only album and then talk a little bit about the song. It's a good time and a nice segue into the weekend! :-D

Today I'm joined by my very first guest! Diana from Macintosh and Maud to discuss the 12th track of the Untitled (or Self-titled if you're like me and have considered it self-titled all these years) album, All of This, which features vocals from the lead singer of The Cure, Robert Smith.
