Paul is back after being away for a few days. Paul wonders how much Russell Wilson loves football. Ray Fittipaldo of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette joined the show. Ray thinks there's a small chance Russell Wilson will be on the field today, but definitely next week.

Hour four with Josh Taylor. Russell Wilson did not practice with a calf injury this morning and Mike Tomlin didn't want to take any chances on their first day. Justin Fields had an 'ok' day. Jeff thinks the Steelers communicated with Arthur Smith to see how Najee Harris would fit in the offense and was the reason why they didn't pick up the 5th-year option. Josh thanks Joe Starkey and thanks him with a story of how he met Starkey.

Hour three with Josh Taylor. The pitching staff can't allow 1-3 runs every night, but they need to win some 7-5 type games. John thinks Brent Rooker and potentially Cedric Mullins should be the Pirates top two trade targets as possibilities to be additions. Rowdy Tellez has made first base a stable spot after struggling for two months. Caller Mark reiterated to Josh a trade idea from MLB Network Radio's Jim Bowden where the Marlins trade Jazz Chisholm to the Pirates for Braxton Ashcraft and Henry Davis.

Josh thinks two out of three is possible and pitching is the key.

Hour three with Joe Starkey. The Pirates lineup is out, and it isn't good against the Cardinals in a big game. Poni tweeted a rumor that the Pirates and Orioles talked about a David Bednar for Coby Mayo deal. We would both make that deal. Najee Harris talked at Steelers camp. We hear what Najee had to say about not getting the option picked up and brushed it off. Najee knows he'd look very bad not playing this season and holding out for a new contract.

Hour two with Joe Starkey. Derrick Henry is a big addition to the Ravens this season but Rob thinks they need to manage his workload for full effectiveness. Rob thinks Lamar is great BUT he doesn't know a playoff signature moment for Lamar. There are eyes on Lamar and John Harbaugh to be a better team in the playoffs. Chad is a Franklin Regional and IUP grad. He helped recruit Russell Wilson to NC State and still keeps in touch with him.

Hour one with Joe Starkey. Tuesday was the worst loss of the Pirates season. They squandered opportunities to score off Lance Lynn, left the bases loaded twice, and grounded into two double plays. Paul Skenes pitched into the 9th and was the most efficient he's been all season. We hear from Pirates fans frustrated with the offense and Derek Shelton's decision making.
