Rick Williams is a Missouri legend. 3x HS state champ and a World Bronze medalist before heading to Iowa State and ultimately Lindenwood where he won 2 NAIA national titles while being a "terrible person" (his words) Rick Williams is as talented as they come on a wrestling mat, he's a great guy and has a great story about what led him to Christ. Rick Williams has an unwavering faith and makes me want to be a better Christian.

Tom Ryan is the National champion head coach of Ohio State University. He was a 2x All American under Dan Gable, roomed with Terry Brands and coached legends Logan Stieber and Kyle Snyder. He has an amazing faith, and is a super funny, nice guy with great stories. I enjoyed the heck out of this podcast and I hope you do to. Thanks for the support.

Dennis Hall is the best Greco Wrestler in United States history. 10x National champion, 3x Olympian, Olympic silver, World Champion. This man is a champion in every sense of the word and I cannot say enough nice things about him. He talks candidly about his toughest moments on and off the mat. Was an absolute honor to talk to him and I think we became friends. How cool is that? Dennis Hall is the man.

Joey Gilbert was a 4x Illinois State Champion going 163-1. He continued his career at Michigan where he was a 2x All American. We talk about his matches w Tom Brands and the challenges of cutting weight and wrestling D1. Joey Gilbert is a stud and a great father and person.

I hope my son turns out like Seth Gross, not that he has to be an NCAA champ or an Olympic hopeful, but I hope he's humble, hard working, resilient, accountable and above all loves and appreciates God like Seth Gross does. This makes me sound old to say it, but this is an outstanding young man. He's also one of the most exciting wrestlers on planet earth. Enjoy, like, comment and don't forget to follow me!

Dan Gable the legend called Chris Campbell his most talented wrestler. In his first yr of competition he went undefeated in New Jersey as a senior. He made the NCAA finals 3 times, winning twice. He made 6 world and Olympic teams, won a world championship and 1 month shy of his 38th birthday became the oldest Olympic medalist in U.S history. Chris Campbell is a bad dude.

Chad Zaputil is a 3x NCAA finalist for the University of Iowa and was coached by the legendary Dan Gable. He had some historic battles w my childhood idol Eric Akin and was in the golden age for 118 pounders, wrestling the likes of Sammie Henson, Akin, Jeff Prescott and Lou Roselli to name a few. All of those guys made a world or Olympic team. He shares some Gable stories and is a great dude. Fun talk.

Jeff Prescott of Penn State is not only a 2x NCAA champion but one of the most dominant 118 pounders in NCAA history. He has some great stories about his career and some strong opinions about our world today. This dude is a beast. Was great to have him on. Thanks for listening, sharing and subscribing.

Randy Butler owns and books Hyenas Comedy Clubs in Texas which are some of my favorite rooms in the country. Randy loves his family, friends, and comedy and probably in that order. Funny guy, straight shooter and I hope he never quits. Comedy needs Randy Butlers.

Jody Thompson could be the mayor of Parson Ks anytime he chose to run if he wanted to. He was the coach at Labette for 35 years as well as the athletic director. Hes a great father, a great coach and all around great man. Was great to have a talk about life and wrestling w the guy who gave me a scholarship and taught me a headlock that will work for a long time on just about anyone.

Temoer Terry is a Kansas wrestling legend. He made 10 straight state finals and won 8 of them losing only as an 8 yr old and as a freshman to another ks legend. After a ton of Freestyle and Greco success he went on to the University of Nebraska where he was a 3x All American and had a victory over USA wrestling legend Joe Williams. I knew a lot of good wrestlers as a kid but Temoer was on another level.

Triston is a 4x state placer and a 2x State champ from Derby High. He'll wrestle this fall at 184 for the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Great kid with an inspirational story.
