Allen Toussaint RIP.

Remembrance Day and other themes
07/11/2015 Duración: 04h01sThis week's show featured selections from the latest disc supplied with fRoots magazine, the esteemed English folk music publication that informs the content of most of my show - and has done ever since I started the show in 1985! I also previewed some of the artists coming to The Rogue in the next few weeks, including Buckman Coe, Linda McRae, Cannery Row, T. Nile, Sarah Jane Scouten, Dana Sipos, and Thad Beckman. I squeezed in some Remembrance Day songs, and some music acquired at the recent Celtic Colours Festival in Cape Breton. Also aired some music from the new (3 days old) CD by local fiddler Jocelyn Pettit, who launches that CD next weekend at The Rogue.
