Have you ever felt like the outsider looking in? Have you ever just felt like you didn’t belong?

Being saved is the story of the Bible, and the story of Jesus, and that’s where we’re at today in Ephesians 2:1–10. And we’re looking at our identity in Christ and the fact that in Christ, I am saved. There are two basic categories for viewing salvation, and how we can achieve it. Paul talks about them both and clears up the misconception, so let me start by explaining them both!

He is writing the book of Ephesians most likely from jail. He has been gone for some time and is writing to a church he planted and pastored for over 3 years. It was the epicenter of his ministry. He sends this letter to enlighten them as to where and how they need to find there identity, and that identity is “In Christ Jesus”! Over 30 times in this very short letter he brings it back to center, and that center is always finding your identity in Jesus.

So who are you?? Have you looked at, do you know who you are? Are you starting to see your identity is “In Christ”?

One of the great myths, is that each of us is exclusively an isolated individual. We see ourselves almost exclusively, the result is, we tend to have an identity based upon things like: “Am I young? Am I old? Am I black? Am I white? Am I rich? Am I poor? Am I Republican? Am I Democrat? Am I smart or not so smart? Am I beautiful or am I average? Am I a winner? Am I a loser? Am I healthy? Am I sick? Am I single? Am I married? Am I divorced? Am I widowed?”

Who do you think you are? That question is identity-shaping, life-altering, eternity-affecting. • How would you describe yourself? • How do you introduce yourself? • How do you perceive yourself?

We have finding our identity as a church! We have rooted in the scripture and have started to find what and who God has called us to be and the people God has called us to reach

The topic today is why was Jesus born? Why did he have to Leave heaven and come to earth? What made the 2 person of the trinity come walk the earth? Why do we celebrate Christmas?

Be patient

America has been deceived in to thinking we are poor! listen and learn to the warning James has for us on what wealth can do!

Slandering your brother is like turning your back on Gods law! your either in the word or of the world! Keep your tongue where it belongs, and think before you speak!
