The Incarnation was the realization of the forgiveness of sins and the complete overhaul of civilization that had been promised by the Prophets. But that forgiveness was more than a concept. It was to be a reality shown first by God through Christ, and then within the congregation of His people.

As the world engters into the Advent Season we look to the Incarnation of the Son of God, as our only hope of personal salvation and the restoration of the world in righteousness.

One of the missions of the Church, aside from the interaction and transformation of the culture, is the education, care and admonition of the congregation. Today we focus upon that mission and its desire for the cure of souls.

The structure of any societal system, if it is to endure under the protection of God, must adherer to the Oneness of God's Law and His Holy Purpose. This is the Eleventh Sermon in the series, The Kingdom Established; an exposition on the First Book of the Kings, and the Reign of King Solomon.

Now that Solomon has removed Adonijah, Abiathar and Joab from threatening the integrity of the Kingdom, Solomon now turns his attention to the blasphemer Shimei, in order to make a full end of the schism. Treachery, rebellion, deceit and schism will never be tolerated against the Lord and against His anointed. Like Absalom before him, Adonijah's rebellion is discovered, forcing king David to make a public declaration that Solomon will be king. David is now in his closing days and once again he is about to face his final challenge; securing the throne for young Solomon in the face of treachery and rebellion. Whenever Christendom becomes secularized by an individualistic focus it becomes fragmented and dysfunctional. The result: A weakened power base, ripe for destruction. The solution; Unity Under God.
