In order to fully expound the Doctrine of Thanksgiving this second Sermon explores the need for contentment among God's people, no matter what the circumstances, knowing that God is faithful, and that there is no need for worry, either in this life, or in the next.

Since we live in a First World Nation, with everything a soul could wish for, most American Christians lack the clarity of what it really means to suffer or to be in dire straits. Ironically, being free and prosperous in America, sadly, often leads to discontentment and an unthankful heart, always wanting more.
