Happy New Year! Do you know what it means to be a true believer in Jesus Christ? This first sermon of the new year is on 1 Thessalonians 1:1-10 and speaks to what we should look like when we truly believe in Jesus. 

It's the last Sunday in December whihc means it is the fianal Sunday of the advent season! This week our Director of Student Ministries, Joseph McCartney, is bringing our last sermon in our Jesus Came series: Jesus Came to Send. It's the final Sunday of the advent season! As we near Christmas day we take a look at how Jesus came to be our hero! To join in our humanity and our suffering so he could defeat death! Our scripture this week is Hebrews 2:10-18. 

Week three of the advent season is the candle of hope! For some, the Christmas season is filled with hope! And for others, they can actually feel quite hopeless. This week we look at John 12:23-33 to see how Christ's death is actually a great source of hope for those who believe in. Wondering how? Take a listen! 

It's the second week of advent! Do you have a need in your life that you struggle to believe God sees and cares about? This week we take a look at a time when Jesus met the very pracital needs of a very large group of people show how Jesus cares and wants to help our every need! 

Today begins the first Sunday of Advent! As we enter this Christmas season we will begin a new series titled Jesus Came! How familiar are you with the teachings of Jesus? This week Brian teaches on one of the primary reasons Jesus came to earth; to teach us! 

Today is part 3 of our Life Together series! Listen as we take a look at how 1 Corn. 12:1-31 teaches us that it really takes ALL of us to be the Church.  

Are you often tempted to keep your troubles to yourself? In part two of our Life Together series we are learning how God intented for the church to be a place where we not just grow together but also suffer together. 

We have a new slogan here at Community Church: Life. Faith. Together.  This week begins a new series highlighting our slogan! Week one is taught by Randy Robbins and his teaching is out of the book of Acts chapter 2:42-47. 

Are you curious to know what Community Church is all about? Today is our annual church business meeting! Brian uses this Sunday to talk about the purpose of Community Church and the commitments we have made as a church! 

Are there good things in life that distract you from paying attention to your spiritual health? In Acts 4:4 the first church leaders found themselves in the postion of needing to recruit others to help in practical matters so they could focus on spiritual leadership. Brian explains how this is still important in the church today. 

Who can be a leader in the church? What makes somone qualified to lead? Brian uses 1 Timothy 3:1-14 to help us see what the Bible says is important and necessary in church leadership. 

Where do you get your ideas about how the church should be run? Is it like a business? A government? A social club? The truth is, most of us are not getting our views about what the church should look like from the Bible but from other worldly organizations. This week we begin a new sermon series on church leadership! It's important for us to know how God wants His church to opperate. Brian uses Mark 10:35-45 to teach us about servant leaders. 

It is the final week of our What Are You So Afraid Of? sermon series! Pastor Rick Floyd uses Matthew 6:19-34 as his passage to wrap up our series!
