An Honorable Mention W/ Shane & Jeff

It should have been a classic night of Junior Heavyweight wrestling where 8 AMERICAN competitors battled it out to compete in the 2005 New Japan Pro Wrestling "Best of the Super Juniors" tournament. Instead it was a rainy night once again (well technically this came first but that's semantics and at least we were indoors), and this time the fan reaction was quite different to say the least. It was the end of onen era as ROH bid farewell to Dan Maff between shows but the beginning of another as new ROH Tag Team Champions would be crowned. The ROH World Title hung in the balance between Austin Aries and "The Notorious 187" Homicide, the Saints and Embassy had a...grating...battle, and we've got some ridiculous stories about that one (HE'S BLIND)!It was Asbury Park, NJ on April 2nd of 2005 (probably one day too late honestly) and it was the "'Best' Of the American Super Juniors Tournament"!
