A very busy Thursday has landed on your calendars and that means the gang from the Real Life Podcast is back with a brand new episode to help you get through the rest of your week. To kick off this episode of Real Life, the guys got started with the major news of the day as the Oilers announced this morning that they had fired Dave Tippett after the team lost a second consecutive game in a devastating fashion. Despite the news being surprising to so many of us, there's no doubt that many Oilers fans were very excited about the change and the possibilities that come with a fresh voice behind the bench. Before the change was made, however, the decision to play Mike Smith in back-to-back situations was one that ultimately proved costly after the veteran netminder was unable to lock things down in his eighth start of the year. Was that decision the one that ultimately cost the coach his
