Taylor met Brett Young when she was in college. Her roommate was friends with him and he was coming to town to play a show. Brett heard about Taylor and sent her a Facebook message asking her on a date before they even met.  They ended up dating 6 years then broke up due to timing and schedules. Fast forward a few years, Brett had moved to Nashville and was one of country music’s newest, hottest stars, when he randomly reached out to Taylor after they hadn’t spoken in years.
