They worked hard, took care of their homes and families, and became an icon of Baltimore culture. I can remember as a child in Dundalk the 1970's many women from my neighborhood who were  mothers and grandmothers who sported the beehive hair dos- whose motto was "the higher the hair the closer to God".  Not only do "The Hons" affectionately pay tribute to the fashion of these women of this era, but they also give what they refer to as "Hon Love&qu
