We know that unhealthy fear is dangerous. It is viral & it spreads. I want to try to show the reality of how unhealthy fear destroys faith. What unhealthy fear becomes is diametrically opposed to our faith. Unhealthy fear shows us that despite David having been anointed by a prophet and on his way to the top position in the kingdom, he said, “. . . There is but a step between me and death. . .” This is the power of unhealthy fear: Like David, we have the presence of God, but fear makes us forget God's presence.
