Reflect on how many people and situations take your focus – significant other, children, parents, bosses, co-workers, siblings, and friends. We work, take care of household, may also have a side business or going to school. We allow our needs to be pushed aside or buried and we don’t feel good about it which impacts how we see ourselves if we see ourselves at all. We invest our time and money into everything and everybody around us but not ourselves. Why is that? Do we feel we are not worthy, not good enough, not capable of, or powerless.
