Arlin “Bud” Henry Sorheim, 87, of Tenstrike, Minnesota, passed on to heaven on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 from his home, to forever be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus. Bud was born on February 18, 1933 to Adolf and Gladys (Fletcher) Sorheim in Puposky, MN. He graduated from Bemidji High School and joined the US Air Force in 1952. He served in the 11th Air Division, rank Airman First Class, as a crew chief and mechanic at Ladd Air Force Base in Alaska and was honorably discharged in 1956. He married Martha Ann Hurlbert on August 22, 1959 in Bemidji, MN and together they had 5 children. Bud lived in several places in Minnesota over his lifetime including Pleasant Valley, White Fish Lake, Solway, and Blackduck. He moved to Tenstrike, MN in 1961. In earlier years he farmed, worked as a mechanic at Dave Walters, and logged in the woods with Clifford Gilchrist. After marriage, he was self-employed as a logger, a farmer, and the owner and operator of a sawmill in Blackduck. He loved animals! He raised elk for 11 yea
