Three quarters of our crew for this episode have watched the 2021 Mortal Kombat movie, giving us the opportunity to emulate the movie by explaining how everything breaks down to our one hapless companion. We also take a little snapshot of the latest Pokemon revival and talk about birds for longer than we felt comfortable including in entirety in this episode. Our next gaming club game is Star Renegades, a rogue-like action, adventure RPG game with a reactive time battle system. It looks really cool and also reminiscent of Hyper Light Drifter in art style in parts.
