The tests in what we see around us

Informações:

Sinopsis

The test of our own weaknesses. "The good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I do" (Romans 7:19) . The habits we cannot seem to throw off, the lives we live that are so far below our ideals, our deep sense of unworthiness... these failures test our faith. "If we hope for what we cannot see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance" (Romans 8:25) . Our faith reaches back into ancient history; stretches far into the unchartered future; and even in the present embraces realities beyond the perceived natural world. Our faith is tested by our own dim conception of the things in which we believe, amid ubiquitous skepticism. For some this intellectual battle can be very distressing.
