It’s time to pivot to the positive. A phrase coined by regional chamber president, Bryan Stephens, he suggests we focus on the positives in our region. What are some of those positives? The first may surprise you: strong regional collaboration. It doesn’t take the memory of an elephant to remember the kerfuffle between Virginia Beach and Norfolk over access to the discount mall, but the fighters are gone, replaced by collaborators like Norfolk and Suffolk cooperating on utilities construction so an Amazon warehouse could happen in Suffolk.
