In the 1990's I was addicted to listening to Bill Popp and the Tapes—the music was the background to my frantic art-making. I went to see him play live-the whole 9 yards! So when he agreed to come on my show-I was a bit star-struck. I could not have imagined a more down to earth, dedicated and continually active musician fronting a band. We talk a lot about his background; the influence his parents individual passing had on him. Also he has a girlfriend that likes belly dancing!
