The State Council of Higher Education issued the Commonwealth Research and Technology Strategic Roadmap, which identifies research areas that will yield the greatest impact in economic development. The report says research and investment in life and health sciences; autonomous systems; space and satellites; agricultural and environmental technologies; cybersecurity; and data science and analytics will have the greatest impact.
