Trump has certainly made some bold moves - pulling out of the Iran nuclear deal, recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, and most recently, announcing a pullout of U.S. troops from Syria. But he's also made many decisions seemingly on impulse, and without consulting allies - actions that have sown confusion and uncertainty in an already troubled region.
