Playwright, Billie King, who produced and directed the stage play titled, “Billie”, a story that takes place in Compton, California during the late 80s and 90s and how a young girl pursuing her dreams to become a hip-hop artist during the Death Row music era, battled the struggles and demons of the entertainment business. We also welcome to the panel, Lori Carter founder of “The Beautiful Movement”. We talked about the “10 signs of Domestic Violence”. We talked about the impact it has on the family and especially children. This all made for a very emotional segment.
