Adam Dunning is a singer and songwriter who specialises in the genre Bossa Nova, with a little bit of jazz and "solar" thrown in. Bossa Nova is little known genre that originated on the beaches of Rio de Janeiro in the late 1950s by a small group of mainly middle-class students, artists and musicians. It is a soft, downplayed samba based on traditional Brazilian music and rhythms, American jazz, and a new style of Portuguese lyrics.* Adam not only teaches us about Bossa Nova but he also teaches us what it means to be entrepreneurial when your work is based in the Arts.
