Sinopsis

Dr. Sarah earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2007 from Northeastern University and has over 10 years of experience as a physical therapist. She also earned her Master of Science in physical therapy and a Bachelor of Science in rehabilitation science from Northeastern University. Sarah decided to study physical therapy after experiencing a devastating motor vehicle accident in high school. She sustained several injuries in the accident including a traumatic brain injury with retro and anterograde amnesia, a shattered femur and patella at the left knee joint, seatbelt and airbag injuries, and multiple fractures in her dominant hand. Initially, her treatment focused on restoring function to the knee and hand and her brain injury was largely ignored. It seemed that the doctors and physical therapists she saw at the time did not really have the knowledge to effectively address the brain injury. When she was able to walk again, her treatment was considered a success and she was discharged. Howeve
