Democratic congressman Adam Schiff got a rude introduction to San Francisco’s reputation for car burglaries yesterday when thieves broke into his car while it sat in a downtown parking garage. Car burglaries in the city have gained a national reputation as a scourge in recent years, and though they apparently are declining, the image is tough to shake.  For more, KCBS Radio news anchors Eric Thomas and Margie Shafer spoke with KCBS Insider Phil Matier and former mayor Willie Brown.
