Guests will be Chick, Dinah and Jon Kunitake. 3 rd generation farmers, the Kunitake family have been friends of mine for over 20 years and big supporters of Emily T Gail Talks Golf & Other Sports. Jon Kunitake moved to the mainland after high school and landed in California as a stable worker. Within a few years he was a professional jockey on his way to a 20 year riding career that took him all over the country and into many winner’s circles. Jon will talk about his start in horse racing and how sports have helped him as a entrepreneur. A respected masters runner today, Jon is one of the founders of the UCC Coffee Kunitake Farms Kona Marathon taking place on Sunday June 28 with a marathon, half marathon, 10k and 5k event.
