One thing I’ve learned over my 15 years in Corporate America is that feedback can be a key differentiator between those who succeed and and those who don’t. Especially for those of us who are looking to climb the ladder, take on leadership positions, and/or secure higher paying opportunities, understanding what we should stop, start, and continue doing is a critical part of our journey. All feedback is NOT created equal though and research tells us that Black women are less likely to receive the kind of meaningful feedback we need in order to improve our skills so we can get to the next level.
