What would you get if you took Love Actually, hired a bunch of more famous but less talented actors and stuffed it through a corporate machine? VALENTINE'S DAY OF COURSE! The boys discuss a movie that Al has watched every year for 8 years and neither of us can figure out why 

Two brides. Best friends. But they have to get married on the SAME DAY? How could this possibly work? That's right it's 2008's Bride Wars. We discuss just what levels Jamie and Al would go to to ruin each others wedding, why strip clubs still exist and if Jamie and Al's hypothetical fiancees are going to leave them. 

It's a Mystery Romance Thriller! Because who needs just one genre? Anne Hathaway plays a grief counsellor helping survivors after a plane crash, but not all is as it seems... This is perhaps the most perplexing movie we've reviewed 

It's Anne Hathaway's first Oscar nominated performance! So of course the boys do a deep dive on all the important things: why is her character named "Kym" with a Y? And does the title of the film actually make sense? Also we have another edition of Jamie's Gamey Corner and Al has a serious questions about the state of the podcast. 

Why fuse two genres when you can fuse THREE, it's time for an Action RomCom baby, that means strap in for Jamie getting to do his two favourite things, talk about comedy and hate on RomComs. Also Al has a very serious question to ask Jamie. 

Jamie is regretting more and more the decision of Anne Hathaway as we head in for another PERIOD DRAMA. An "biographical" film about the early life and romance of Jane Austen with James McAvoy (and his CHEEKS), it's about to get steamy in here! Also Al enlists Jamie to help him write a DnD campaign about getting toiler paper and Jamie's Gamey Corner returns with a bang. 

It's EPISODE 100 and the boys are wearing their best cerulean cardigans to celebrate. That's right, we've prepared a biggie for you, THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA: Anne Hathaway ain't no princess anymore, she's a high flying fashionista and she's working for not Anna Wintour definitely not Anna Wintour. A movie that has been hyped as a movie Jamie will, quote, "hate so much" we guarantee our opinions will surprise you. 

Tom Hanks' brand new film News of the World came out in the UK on Netflix this week and so this review is HOT OFF THE PRESSES! That's right, we're back in the Hanks Bank, and that means some classic old bits are back; terrible accents, parody songs and Alexander being woefully underprepared. 

What happens when you make an independently funded 3D animated movie in 2005 for less than 8 million dollars? You make 2 idiots talk about it 16 years later of course! Anne Hathaway stars as the much parodied Red Riding Hood in this visually horrific, but surprisingly endearing relic from the mid noughties. 

The time is 1960s Wyoming. There's guitar pluckin'. Truck drivin'. Sheep Wrasslin'. And of course, cowboys. The boys whip out their best cowboy impressions to discuss 2005's iconic love story, Brokeback Mountain. 

SURPRISE, Hanks Bank is back. With a special day in Tom Hanks history, he hosts an array of singers singing songs they didn't write, with odes to American heroes but no actual substantive change being made and a massive firework display. What could be more American eh? Well two brits are here to tell you all why you're wrong, so strap in for another special episode of Hanks Bank 

Anne Hathaway is DONE being a princess. That's right, it's time for the GRITTY, SERIOUS reboot of Anne Hathaway, wherein she plays *checks notes* uhhh... A rich white girl from LA pretending to be a gangster because she's uhh... Bored? In a straight-to-dvd misstep, we also see young Joseph Gordon Levitt and Channing Tatum and not much else of value. 

 It's the biggest and best sequel that no one cares about! Critically panned, Princess Diaries 2 has been hyped on this podcast for weeks, and boy does it deliver. A governmental system that makes no sense, questionable morals and absolutely horrible CGI, the boys are in for a treat this week!   

We bring on special guest and Ella Enchanted super fan Ellen to talk about a cult classic. Jamie feels under absolutely no obligation to like this movie and there is no tension or pressure at all coming from his friends, his girlfriend or his co-host.
