He wrote Small Stakes Hold 'em: Winning Big With Expert Play with David Sklansky and Mason Malmuth in 2004. In 2005, he completed Getting Started in Hold 'em, a beginner's book. In 2006, he co-wrote No Limit Hold 'Em: Theory and Practice with David Sklansky. Miller is also co-author of the book Professional No Limit Hold 'em with Matt Flynn and Sunny Mehta published in 2007 and wrote Small Stakes No-Limit Hold’em co-authored with Sunny Mehta and Matt Flynn. Miller came out with How to Read Hands At No-Limit Hold'em in 2011, Playing the Player in 2012, and Poker's 1% in 2014. Miller is part owner and produces educational poker videos for Red Chip Poker and StoxPoker, both subscription fee based poker coaching sites. Before poker, Haxton, like many other poker pros played all kinds of board and card games including chess and Magic: The Gathering. He picked up poker in high school and became serious about the game when he started studying Computer Science at Brown University. After awhile, Haxton decided to take some time off school and pursue a career in poker. However, unlike many other young poker guns, Haxton had his family behind his back. He’s long been interested in the psychological aspects of poker (while knowing that poker tells are much less important than poker strategy.) She gradually began to play more and more online and the results started coming. Describing herself as a grinder who is more than happy at lower stakes, Adrienne plays for the enjoyment, as well as the profits. She qualified for the World Series of Poker Main Event for three consecutive years on PokerStars in 2005, 2006 and 2007, and had top-100 cashes in WSOP Omaha events in the next three years, 2008, 2009 and 2010. Online tournaments at PokerStars have also proved profitable for Adrienne, and she’s final tabled the Women’s Sunday event three times, with strong finishes in 2nd, 3rd and 4th spots. When she’s not playing poker, Adrienne works as an Occupational Therapist and also enjoys sports including snowboarding and slo-pitch softball.
