Hey everyone! We were pod casting from Loggerhead Turtle Rescue today. We saw Susan, Pearson & Treble. The three turtles were recovering from fish hooks in the esophagus, a broken shell by a boat, and being stuck at the inlet in Jupiter, FL. They were all active. Betty White was released on Wednesday! We had interviews with the staff and saw a turtle removed and tended to in rehab. We watched as they poured honey to mend the open wound on the broken shell. What a great experience!
